KCHA Activities & Events
KCHA has a wide variety of activities that can be available to members, depending on how many volunteers we have to help with them.
We rely on the parents in KCHA to make these activities possible. Please consider joining a committee or two to help make these events possible!
If there is an idea that you have but don't see it on this list, please reach out to a board member!
Park Day
Meet up with other moms to chat and make friends while your children play at the playground.
Field Trips
Get discounted entry to museums and more when you go on group field trips with other KCHA families.
Clubs
Does your kid enjoy chess? Pokemon? LEGOs? Join a KCHA club, or help get one started with other kids who have the same hobbies.
Dances
If your tween or teen is missing out on school dances, help KCHA organize a few, like Homecoming or Prom.
Holiday Parties
Make a box and exchange valentines, participate in a Halloween costume contest, & go on an Easter egg hunt.
Mom's Night Out
Take a break from the kids and get together with other homeschooling moms for an evening of fun and friendship.
Birthdays
Get together each month and have a cupcake with other kids who have the same birthday month as your own children.
Awards Night
Register for Awards Night, and reward your kiddos for all their hard work this year with a certificate of your choice.
Elementary
Have fun and play with other elementary school kids! We might take a tour of the fire station or have an arts & crafts day.
Tweens (Middle School)
Have a middle school kiddo who needs some friends? Get together with other tweens for some fun activities!
Teens (High School)
If your teen is in high school and is looking to make friends their age, come to one of our teen hangouts!

Talent Show
Does your kid have a talent they want to show? Now's their chance! Singing, dancing, poetry recitation: the sky's the limit!
Art Fest
In conjunction with the Talent Show, your child can display their artwork for all attendees to enjoy before and after the performances.
International Festival
Make a display about your favorite country, or simply tour the world from Kosciusko County as you walk around and see students displays.
Science Fair
If your kid enjoys experiments, the Science Fair is the perfect opportunity for them to show what they've learned. Parents: judges will be needed!
Camping
Bond with other homeschooling families for a few days while camping at reserved campsites next to one another.
Graduation
Have a kiddo graduating high school this year? Help other parents organize a graduation ceremon! (Also possible for kindergarten, etc.)
Scholarship
When families register for KCHA, they can choose to donate towards our scholarship fund. Each year, rising seniors can apply.
Co-op
As of right now, KCHA does not have a co-op. However, if you are interested in helping us start one up, please reach out to a board member!
